My dog is very weary of people. She loves other dogs, but people make her bark and run away. She was a rescue, and despite taking her to training and socializing her every day since we got her a year ago, she's still very nervous around people. I was concerned with leaving her at a kennel for a week while we went on vacation. I googled a bunch of places, checked out a couple, and became even more concerned with leaving her. I didn't want to scar my poor dog and make her even more afraid of people by the time we picked her up. So I asked her vet who they'd recommend. They said east bay Kennel. Adding more to this review now after almost a year. This kennel continues to be an a life saver for me! My dogs are always so happy to arrive here, and I see other dogs at drop off are the same. The fear aggressive dog has even bonded enough to offer up his belly for rubs while in their care!! The dogs are lovingly and professionally cared for every time I have to leave them whether it is just for the day or a longer trip. Let’s just say our dog Reagan is not the easiest dog. We dropped her off for the first time boarding her and were concerned about how she was going to do. They were great to deal with, the place is super clean and I’d recommend them to any dog owner. We even had her groomed and they did a great job. They will certainly be our go to place while we are vacationing.

Love the care they show our dog. He always has a fun stay and looks fantastic when he gets a grooming!
