Bristol Animal Shelter

Amazing place with amazing people all the animals are so friendly and it shows how much care they receive from staff amazing time spent there

I just found out the multi million dollar state of the art shelter in Bristol does not help Bristol residents. I'm not sure what they do. Not alot of transparency. They won't take "surrenders " from a Bristol resident but they take animals from other shelters. I wish it made sense to me. All our tax dollars built that place. What good is it and where does all the money they raise go? Outrageous

We adopted our two sibling kittens (formerly LJ & Stone, now Jasper & Evie) from here. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and so kind to the animals. The conditions within the shelter are immaculate, with each animal receiving attention, care, and love! We love our new found friends and are so happy that they were able to find a home through such a truly wonderful shelter.

Fired the animal control officer that made unfair assumptions about me and my husband years ago when we wanted to adopt a dog. She treated us like we were scum and told us we can come visit whenever but she’d never let us leave with a dog? We bought dogs instead of adopting because of her. Great decision to get rid of her. This is a high quality facility overall and the animals are well taken care of by staff.

This is the most beautiful state-of-the-art shelter I have ever seen! The people that volunteer their time are absolutely wonderful, dedicated, charismatic and friendly people! The Animal control officer is very professional and is very confident in what he is doing for the animals! I had a wonderful experience at the shelter. I enjoyed teaching them hands on pet CPR and first aid techniques.
