oh it was such an untimely accident I was going out for a run with my dog and I heard a Yelp and he came out of the woods with a huge gash to his limb it was splayed wide open and I knew he needed stitches the unfortunate thing is I called all the so-called ER vets in the North woods. Monday morning within minutes of arriving at the clinic, our sweet Kady passed away. (They did provide immediate attention upon our arrival). We were heartbroken and in shock. I tried every vet clinic in the area & Eagle River was the only ones to say, “bring her in”. Every person we met — from the front desk to the veterinarian — showed such compassion, gentleness, and respect. They made space for us when we needed it most. Kady passed naturally, surrounded by love and dignity. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, their kindness and care brought us comfort we’ll never forget. Attached is the last picture of her taken less than 24 hours earlier heathy & happy. She passed from bloat, when we had just started (and ended) our vacation. Had a great experience here. They were able to fit us in the day of and help my puppy with a urination issue. Everyone was wonderful. Facility is very clean as well! Highly recommend!

We needed some help over the weekend with our lab. They got us in very quickly and took care it for us. And I feel like they were very fair on price. Both of the other vets in minocqua area couldn't help?? And the one so called emergency vet near wausau gave us a run a round. We highly recommend eagle river animal hospital

Wouldn’t recommend in the slightest. The vet was only worried and obsessed about our dogs weight every time we were there. Which he’s never been over weight. We asked multiple times why his eye was red, and clearly glossy and what we could do about it. She said there’s nothing wrong, that a red eye was fine. we finally went to get a second opinion (because that is NOT normal) and they sent us IMMEDIATELY to an ophthamologist! Because this issue had gone on for so long untreated he went blind in that eye! We also had to have it removed. It is ok to not know everything, but it is NOT ok to not admit you don’t know. They could have referred us to an ophthalmologist, but instead wanted to talk about weight. By the way our new vets we see have never said a thing about his weight and think he l
