Dunkirk Animal Hospital

Every single person at Dunkirk Animal Hospital is great. They care for both our dogs and our cat. They manage to be professional and still treat our pets and us like family. From the first call to the treatment and after care instructions, they’ve are the best. They discuss treatment options, explain everything and are considerate of costs. From routine visits to emergency care and everything else, they’ve been amazing. They provided end of life care for our senior cat and handled everything with such grace.

After spending all night at a 24 hour animal hospital and not being able to be seen, dunkirk animal hospital got me in almost as soon as they opened their doors. They took wonderful care of my cat. They were even able to get us follow up appointments for the following days. My cat was very relaxed at this place and loved the staff! We take all of our animals here and never have a problem! All the vet techs are phenomenal and the vets are very kind and personal , I recommend this place to everyone looking for a new vet. Every time I go , they ask about other animals at home and how they are doing. I adore this place and everyone in it!

While I miss my old vet, Dunkirk Animal Hospital is still a great local option in the area. Their office staff has improved considerably and the vets have always been awesome. I love how easy it is to book online as I'm not always able to call during normal business hours due to work and their services are reasonably-priced for this area. All my pets are as happy as I am (well, they're never happy at the vet, but y'know what I mean).

I've been bringing my pups here for a number of years now and I've never been disappointed. Front desk staff is always pleasant. Never a long wait. I love that all check out, meds, etc is done in the room, especially since my Max is a little excitable around other dogs. I usually see Dr. Carey or Dr. Jackie, both of whom are fabulous. Very caring, very knowledgeable and friendly, and they never rush through the visit. When I see other doctors at the practice they are always great as well. Very happy with this animal hospital.

First time there and will definitely be transferring the rest of my furbabies here! Admin team, techs, and Dr. Kuiper were all fantastic! Didn't wait long, the tech came in and got started with my kittens, told me what the doctors plan was (I recently adopted two kittens so it was their first visit after the shelter, Dr. Kuiper reviewed shelter records before the visit). There was a slew of tests the shelter never did, so the tech and Dr. Kuiper performed those after obtaining my consent. Handled my baby boys so gently, cleaned their ears and did a medicated treatment in them, treated other current symptoms, and we have a plan to return for the last kittens vaccines.
