When I moved to Winter Haven just over a year ago I went looking for a new vet for my 5 dogs, so as you can imagine we spend a fair bit on vet care for them all. I’ve always had a good experience there with all their vets but I especially love working with Dr. Farnham! All the front desk employees and techs are wonderful as well. They charge fair prices and never try to scare you into doing tests or extras that you don’t need. They all work well with my behavioral issue dogs and always remember their patients and are happy to see them! Of all the vets I’ve used since moving to Florida, they’re my favorite.

RUN! Do not walk away from these people. They will smile and act very polite and compassionate until you catch on that it is a sales pitch. I took my Lab for what turned out to be just age related degeneration and joint pain. Brian immediately started trying to sell me stuff and tried to nail down my "top budget range" for helping my pet, using word like "do what we can" and "at least make him comfortable." I immediately thought the worst as any of us would after hearing such words. He disappeared for a few minutes, then brought in a $621.00 bill that he called a "pre-invoice." It listed procedures that had not been done. No vet had even yet examined my pet and he was asking for a payment of over $600.00. Very impressed with the care my babies receive at Dunham. Dr.Farnham takes time with you and makes sure she answers any questions you might have! Very patient and caring with all 4 of my babies!

We purchased a puppy from a neighbor who isn’t a breeder and was pleasantly surprised they used the same vet we already did . She was making a snorting noise and didn’t want to wait to get the next set of shots so when I called they had her seen in a matter of hours. She has a very tight set of nostrils that might need surgery when she gets spayed . We got to allow her around our other dog knowing she wasn’t contagious. They are so nice and gentle seeing our babies.
