I recently adopted Luca, who is a very friendly 3 yo (best guess) Pitt mix stray from a local shelter. He had some bad habits such as very mouthy and wanting to jump up on everyone. Sam took him on day 3 of his new life with me for an 2.5 week board & train. He now easily stays up on his cot (place) when I need space and his down stay in the corner of the kitchen is wonderful! As an older person, I’m not sure if I would have been able to handle him without Sam’s help.

Eva, my 7 plus year old dog, and I met Sam by chance at Vet Wellness Center(Eva's veterinarian) and decided to hire him. We just completed his five lesson package and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I've seen wonderful changes in Eva and myself for that matter and our relationship has improved on several levels. Eva has enjoyed learning new skills and she's constantly surprising me with how quickly she learns. Sam is a talented trainer and I'm glad we met him.

Working with Sam at Dragon’s Tooth Dog Training has been a life-changing experience for both me and my dog. When we first started, I had very little confidence, especially since my dog and I are roughly the same size. Walking him felt overwhelming, and honestly, I was scared. Sam didn’t just focus on training my dog, he focused on training me (which I really needed!). He took the time to explain the psychology behind why dogs (and humans) behave the way we do, which made everything click in a way it hadn’t before. Instead of just giving instructions, he helped us understand what was happening and how to respond. My dog is much more responsive, calmer, and more connected to me, but the biggest change is in my confidence and I’m truly grateful for that. I still have a lot of work to do but
