Dr. McKinstry's Holistic Veterinary Clinic

I came to see Dr. McKinstry when my dog tore a ligament in his back leg. She was so helpful, prescribing natural supplements and acupuncture. She also gave me books so I could learn about glyphosate--and its link to many chronic diseases in pets. Thanks to Dr. McKinstry's holistic and natural approaches--combined with my own well-developed techniques of energy medicine--I healed my dog in about a third of the time as conventional medicine. My best friend was also spared the pain of unnecessary surgery. And, these holistic methods were MUCH gentler on my wallet. A win all the way around!

I want to sincerely thank Dr. McKinstry for her exceptional skills and care in treating animals. I used to take my pup to Dr. Anthony at Haddon Vet, just 15 minutes from my home. Like Dr. McKinstry, he was trained in both Western and holistic medicine, having graduated from UPenn and practiced acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). Sadly, after Dr. Anthony’s tragic passing, I turned to Dr. McKinstry for help—and I’m so glad I did. Dr. McKinstry is highly knowledgeable in both Western and Chinese herbal medicine. Being from Hong Kong, I grew up using Chinese herbs and truly appreciate how effective they can be. Her approach gave me confidence right from the start. My pup has always been healthy when I feed him fresh, natural food along with the right supplements.

My Great Dane, Lennox, has been seeing Dr. McKinstry for acupuncture. She is SO knowledgable about both western and eastern medicine, and I really appreciate her passion for educating pet parents. She is passionate about her work and compassionate with her patients and I feel lucky to have found her. She’s extremely knowledgable about diet and she’s been super helpful in my early attempts at changing my dogs diet to eliminate gmos/glyphosate. She makes the hour drive well worth it! My Great Dane has made huge improvements since starting treatment with her. Never did I think he’d sit through an acupuncture session so easily, but the she’s great at what she does and provides such a calming environment. I’m so glad I found her in my search! Highly recommend!

She is great!! Simple 1 person practice, but she takes her time and tries to solve the issue, not put a bandaid on it. She uses alit of all natural remedies and herbs. I loved our experience. My Gia was diagnosed with SARDS and Lymphoma, and the doc was able to address and suggest without hesitation. Highly recommend!!!
