I began fostering for DRBC in 2015, and after 5 fosters, Pop decided we were his forever home, and we adopted him. He spent 10 wonderful years with us and recently passed at age 16.5. DRBC was there for us anytime we needed advice on vet care or help. DRBC is very mindful of their adoptions and their process means almost all their animals go to the perfect home forever. I highly recommend utilizing DRBC whether you are looking to adopt, foster, or need help with your current Doxie.

There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude for Dachshund Rescue of Bucks County & NJ and especially for Cindie, who walked alongside our family during one of the most emotional and frightening times with our sweet Remi. From the very beginning, Cindie went above and beyond in every possible way. She supported us through phone calls, emails, and even took the time to meet with us in person. I've adopted two dogs from this rescue and I had a wonderful experience - they are awesome! The process was easy to understand, the team was super nice and took the time to answer all of my questions. I had dogs growing up, but never worked with this breed, so I really appreciated how much time they took to give me advice on training and what kinds of things to expect or look out for. I also really love their mission. They've been able to save so many dogs - incredible work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

DRBC has been instrumental in teaching us all about the rescue world as we started out as fosters and moved to helping them provide grooming services (The Bearded Dog Pet Grooming, LLC) to their pups in need. They are good with their communications and do believe in supporting their core values of rescuing, rehabilitating and educating the public on the needs of these pups, no mater how young or old!

I have met some very lovely dogs through DRBC. The organization ensures they are in good shape before being fostered or adopted, prepared with a full medical workup and put on a diet and medical plan as needed. DRBC puts its animals first and never says no to a dog in need. They are adamant about finding the right home for each dog rather than rushing to get them into just any home. DRBC is a small organization with a big heart.
