I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary team. We brought our 16-year-old dog, Sophie, in after she took a bad fall on our hardwood floor. She was suffering from internal bleeding and critically low blood pressure, and we were terrified we might lose her. The doctors and staff acted quickly and professionally — placing her on IV fluids, administering medication to help clot the internal bleeding, and ultimately performing a blood transfusion. Throughout the entire process, they were compassionate, calm, and honest, explaining everything clearly while treating Sophie with incredible care and dignity. Today, six days later, Sophie is home and doing well — something we honestly weren’t sure would be possible. We are beyond grateful for the skill, dedication, and kindness shown

This place is seriously my knight in shining armor. My dog needed to be seen by a cardiologist, and no other hospital near me in Pennsylvania was able to have her be seen by one as an emergency or even any time soon at all, including her previous cardiologist she had seen multiple times before at Penn. When we weren't sure what was going on, she was able to see a neurologist and internal medicine specialist back to back on the same day for our convenience, and during the appointment the two doctors conferred with each other AND her new cardiologist so they were all on the same page about what they thought was going on and what should happen next. As a veterinarian myself, I am incredibly particular about where I trust my own pets to receive care—especially in an emergency. Last night, after my dog Rhea ingested a toxin, I brought her to Crown Veterinary Specialists, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the team and Dr. Berenstein were calm, efficient, and compassionate. They understood the urgency of the situation and acted quickly while still taking the time to communicate clearly and thoroughly with me. I came to see Dr. Angelo (Oncologist) about my Flurry after a concerning x-ray at our local vet. She was warm, informative and so helpful. My options were ultimately limited because of her condition but I take great comfort in knowing Flurry was under the best care. I would return to Crown Vet in the future and highly recommend.

Everyone here was great with taking care of my Matthew. I loved the constant communication. I called to check on him a million times for updates and someone was always available to talk. I didn’t like one of the doctors. He was great with my dog’s care, but has zero people skills. I said I wanted to take my dog home to be with family, where he will be more comfortable, and this guy said, “He’ll be cared for here. He might die anyway.” Anyway my baby is happier being home. He’s eating again and playing with my other pets. I would love to continue working with Dr Angelo with his care. She’s amazing.
