Service was ok, had to wait a long time to be seen with an appointment. Cost was very high, $128.oo just for 1 time ear drops, $28.00 for two pills to gorg my puppy before I bring him in so they can look in his ears,(next visit). I told them several times I didn't want them but they insisted, I had the same meds at home. Cost,$341.00 in total. We're on a fixed income. I feel we were railroaded. My boy still has pain tonight. First time my visit was not good. My advise, ask the cost of the service they plan on providing.

We saw Dr. Nickerson as we usually do. She is not only an excellent veterinarian, she is one of the most caring individuals I have come across in this profession. She goes above and beyond to ensure our fur baby is treated with outstanding care. She explores every avenue to diagnose the symptoms our little one has. She does not do unnecessary tests. She explains what her findings are and answers all of our questions. She is as patient with us 2-leggeds as she is with our 4-legged. She follows up after we leave the clinic. I can't praise her or the care she provides. Thank you Dr. Nickerson. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the other veterinarians we have seen over the years. They are also first rate. I have been taking my fur babies to Down Maine since 2017. Started with quite a different pack and our evolved pack continues with their service. Two pack members left our family in our hands and theirs and the experiences were very comfortable and heartfelt. I appreciate how they can hold their professionalism during moments like that. They also have lots of food in stock, esp. higher end brands. My diabetic doggy has been very well cared for. Highly recommend this office for your pet's needs.

Down Maine is the best. We have some high maintenance dogs and Down Maine goes above and beyond for our girls. Cookie was a mess until we started seeing Dr Knickerson - awful allergies, getting mast cell tumors removed every month, constantly vomiting. All of those issues have been addressed in our time at Down Maine.

We loved our visit today. Everyone is so friendly. Dr. Nickerson was very professional and answered all the questions with patience. She is very sweet and has a great bedside manner as well. I really appreciate when Dr. Nickerson answers my email questions quickly as well. I’m SO glad we switched to Down Maine! Yorkie is Milo Shi-poo is Lucie
