They always been so sweet every time we come in , I visited Sunday January 11th to meet a new baby to potentially bring home. We decided to meet Delorris she was very shy at first and did not want to leave one of the staff members. I was told she was staffs favorite and has been there for a while we didn’t give up on her so we decided to do a Doggy Day out to see how she reacted to us. I instantly fell in love with her. We brought her back to the shelter and came back for her Saturday the 17th and once again asked for a Doggy Day out. She stayed with us for a few hours and that’s when me and my husband decided we wanted to keep her! We brought her back in and got all of her adoption papers signed and have never been more excited. I went in to take a look at the dogs and came out with my heart. His name was Patrick and he had been returned twice. He was a large puppy Great Dane German Shepherd mix with a beautiful demeanor. I’m so happy to have met him at this facility. He makes me smile every day. We now call him Zeus!

The lady I spoke to was very disrespectful and unhelpful. I was trying to handle a situation humanely and was treated with no respect and find that to be unacceptable. It's sad that this is how your representatives treat others, especially when they are trying to handle a situation with the upmost respect for the animals involved. It appeared like she wanted the dogs involved to be impounded and as a whole that's immoral and wrong. I hope you guys fix this because it's not right and in every manner it's disrespectful. I'm not sure what kind of day she was having but she had absolutely no right to bring it out on me. And I was in the freezing cold waiting for them to show up and they never did. So that's another bad experience just having to wait for hours in 25 degree weather for no reason

All of the staff that I've encountered were really rude. & dont even bother trying to reach out about stray animals. I found a dog running through my neighborhood with a broken chain attached to its collar. The dog looked really skinny. I gave him 4 bags of treats & tried to lure him to my car, but was unsuccessful. Just tried calling the shelter, no answer. Pressed one for dispatch, no answer. Called dispatch again & got forwarded to voicemail. Obviously theyre not too concerned. It says the shelter is open, but when you call it only prompts you to different lines with no extension for the shelter to speak with someone. Hopefully they do their job & so get that dog, because whoever owns it, isnt taking care of it.

Shauna was a huge help in a not so great situation. She made the adoption painless and made sure our furry friend has a great life ahead of him. 11/10 stars if I could.
