Double R Dog Ranch

We contacted Randy at the Double R Dog Ranch to take care of our 2 year old German Shepherd for the day, while we went kayaking and swimming at the Rainbow Springs State Park. We were on a roadtrip through Florida, and were only stopping in the area for the day. Randy was able to take our fur baby in for the day and we had the piece of mind, knowing that he was safe, while we were on the river. The ranch is very close to the Rainbow Springs State Park, Spring head and KP hole on the Rainbow river. Randy was very communicative throughout, and he even sent us a video of our dog running and enjoying the ranch. I sent our chocolate lab to Randy to be trained not only in hunting but also in obedience. I have two younger children who love dogs. Scott is a very important part of our family, not only is he loved around the house we also use him when we head out on our duck hunting trips. We experienced excellent service with Randy, he was professional and extremely knowledgeable. When we got Scout back I was blown away with not only his skills in the hunting environment but also with obedience at home and in the community. Randy is one of the best in the business when it comes to gun dogs. When I took my lab to him he had no obedience training and didn’t even like to be in the water. Within the first month he was collar conditioned and working well off leash as well as diving head first in the water after bumpers. Randy is very transparent on what you will get out of your dog and what to expect early on. My dog was very well taken care of while at Double R and when I would take him over to work him after I had gotten him back and he was visibly excited to be there when he saw Randy. The next dog I get will definitely be going to Double R for its training.
