Dotties Pet Pawlor Grooming and Treatery

My large dog Chief is a rescue and former breeding dog with anxiety. He is nervous about everything and also now a senior at 12. I first found Dotties in 2022 when we felt his anxiety was managed enough to try his first groom while in our care. I was also nervous as he is scared of new people - not aggressive, but can shut down a little. Dottie's has been a great grooming experience. They really take their time with him, especially as he's gotten older and started having more issues standing the whole time during his groom due to hip arthritis. They also do a great job with the groom in general - his coat always looks amazing when he comes home. As a German Shepherd and a major shedder, his regular grooms keep his coat healthy. VERY Happy with Dottie’s for our mini golden doodle and mini labradoodle. Our youngest is still a pup and getting use to grooming. This is the best hair cut he has ever had. He also loves to socialize! Dotties is much more reasonably priced than other venues we have used, and honestly the dogs have never looked better. We will be return customers! Thank you.

I went to get my golden groomed, we had been there before. My golden is very hyper, she wants to see everything. So when I went to pick her up, the girl, at the desk, she told me that my golden can’t come back. I’m not totally sure why, but I’m thinking because of her hyperactivity. But anyway I’ve gone to another groomer and they said she was fine. I was very disappointed, for one thing they were very close to my house. Oh well things happen for a reason. I guess flunking grooming was meant to be.

Dotties Pet Pawlor is the best in Columbus. The staff is always so nice and you can tell how much they love animals. They are very efficient and detail oriented. They also have a fun background for your pet to get their picture taken in front of after.

Dotties did an AMAZING job with both our Great Pyrenees! Our dogs love nothing more than playing outside running through the mud, so Dotties definitely had their work cut out for them when our dogs came in heavily matted and full of spring-time mud! They know exactly how to groom dogs with double coats and were extra intentional about not having to shave them unnecessarily. They spent HOURS getting these gentle giants back to their beautiful selves Both dogs look absolutely wonderful!
