DOGPerfect - Lakewood Ranch

I have had a Dog Perfect membership ($179) since July 2024, mainly to get the 20% discount on grooming services. Since joining, I have been to all 3 of the Dog Perfect stores for grooming, baths, nail cuts, etc. since joining. The number of people working in the grooming services department have varied and the quality of the grooming services have varied from one person doing a full groom to two people. The ability of Dog Perfect to maintain enough "full groomers" has been a problem, with all 3 admitting to having "problems hiring a groomer" which resulted in scarce availability when I've had to supplement with other grooming places. This is the 2nd time within 3 months that this store is short staffed and I've been turned away for a nail trim for a 4 pound Yorkie that I hold. There are 3 store employees and 2 groomers in the back bathing dogs at the same time. No other customers in the store. It was 1pm on a Sunday. Why is there not a better staffing schedule where both groomers are not bathing at the same time. Off to University Parkway Dog Perfect where their customer service has always been 5 stars. So disappointing.

This is mostly for the groomer. We've also gotten great service in the store. (The manager is usually there and she's very nice and helpful.) This is the best groomer of several we have tried. (Briana?) We get the full treatment for our English Springer Spaniel including wash, complete haircut, toenails cut and dremeled, anal expression, etc. They let us drop off Margo early and generally finish when they say so. We thought her nails needed more trimming at the last visit and Briana fixed them for free.

Our first time here today and brought both pups, Amanda took great care of them and went above and beyond to make sure that both pups were pampered even with the smallest request of service. And had them both done well before we thought! Thanks again!

I have had my Yorkie groomed by a traveling groomer, who I loved and most importantly my dog loved. Unfortunately she moved and I tried one of the other big name traveling groomer which ended up with cotton in the ear for 2 days. I was Leary about Brick and Motar groomers but she needed to be done bad🤣 I have to saw from the time I walked in greeted and helped immediately, I got so lucky to have a young lady named Abby who cut my pup. Yes, sorry very long winded but definitely wanted to get across to people like me, who haven’t tried anywhere for fear. This is where you want to be! They now have a loyal customer with me.
