Angela’s STAR Puppy class is excellent. I feel like I’m leaning so much from her! Angela’s calm, professional demeanor soothed my first-time-puppy-mom nerves from the very first class. We’ve completed five of the seven classes and my puppy and I are making great progress. We are already signed up for the upcoming Good Canine Citizen class! Thank you for providing such excellent instruction at your facility.
Update, 10/25: the club has moved from its previous location to a bigger building and has expanded the number of classes and trials offered. Still a fantastic deal for the number of classss and instruction you get, and the new building is a very nice facility with plenty of parking and grass. I’ve taken three generations of dogs here and have no plans to stop anytime soon. Amazing deal for the price you pay for classes. My puppy successfully graduated STAR puppy and is now doing CGC. Angela is an amazing gift to the DOCLC and is a truly fantastic teacher. Totally worth the drive!!
Started out years ago with basic obedience for my Australian Shepherd… great class for manners.. sit, stay, heel, come, down… excellent trainers. Wouldn’t go any other place. great new location in North Fort Myers, Florida. Corner of Slater Road and Bayshore Road. Very experienced and knowledgeableinstructors/trainers from puppy classes all the way up to however high you want to go with your dog! Highly recommend this facility! 🐾🐾❤️
Rambo loves ms. Jenn I’ve learned so much with these classes to assistance my Rambo. Rams is doing very well.
We took the CGC with Angela. I wouldn’t recommend it. When I asked if we’d go over the test items she told us to google it. Class was more about “using the equipment’ and not the actual test items. For the test, it says for the EVALUATOR to touch the dog but the instructor said just for the handler to do it. That’s not what’s in the CGC test. Didn’t work on supervised separation either. Some people asked about barking and were told to use a spray bottle with vinegar to deter barking. Also they were told to kick the crate to shut the dog up. When our dog took a treat too rough, she bopped his nose/muzzle. The next week he went after her. We stopped going as it was clearly making him worse. Another “tip” was as for a scared, growling Corso for his owner to alpha roll him. if you do take
