Where to start… I started working with Gene about a year ago and then actually listening to him and implementing his methods maybe six months ago. 😆 Gene’s approach to dog training blows my mind. I couldn’t fathom training a dog without using treats. I’ve taken my dogs to numerous classes and private lessons and always start with a huge pouch of treats and they fall all over themselves to do what I want… when I have treats. Then I have a food obsessed, overweight pooch who has bonded with the food. Gene didn’t train my dog as much as he taught me how to interact with him from canine, not human, behavioral perspective. I didn't know any of that before Gene, of course, but now it's easy to see. Basically what he did is teach me how to build a trusting relationship with my dog: just me and h

Gene is simply wonderful! Despite being a long-time adult dog owner, I was unable to control my new puppy, despite several weeks of work and multiple training books. In only one session Gene was able to explain how owners need to view their dogs (not in the same psychological context as humans) and how to address the relationship and education. He trained me (and my wife). Beginning with proper socialization techniques and following up with specific command techniques, Gene was able in instruct us in how to train and enjoy our pup. After the first session we were well equipped and -- at our prodding -- a second session put us well in gear with a happy pup. Gene also does longer-term training (Boot camp) for those who want a more intense training without being as actively involved; he

Gene is a true "dog whisperer" - and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with understanding dog behavior. He helped us with our standard poodle puppy. She was veryexcitable and it was impossible for us to have her out when our friends came over. Within 10 minutes, he had her in "down-stay"! With his help, she is now well behaved and easy to have a walk with. I highly recommend Dog Masters and Gene and Barbara Muller!!

Gene Muller is an AMAZING dog trainer. In just a few minutes, Gene took our high strung corgi and had him sitting calmly. His years of experience gets results right away. I've seen other trainers that want to spend weeks to do what Gene does in a few hours.
