As a giant breed dog owner, I know firsthand how critical it is to have a strong training foundation that begins at puppyhood. Mae has worked with 4 of my Mastiffs over the years both through classes, socialization groups and private training, and has transformed them from shy, nervous puppies into confident, well-adjusted adults that thrive both at home and in public. They are a confident, personable and extremely knowledgeable trainer who has years of experience with every size and breed of dog you can think of. What I like most about dogflower is Mae’s ability to communicate complex ideas (behavior, science behind things) in a way that is easy for anyone to understand. No matter the issue, Mae has always been there ready to help! Would 100% recommend.

We’ve been working with Meaghan, of Dog Flower, on and off since our dog, Ari, was a lil puppy. That was six years ago! We first brought Ari to a puppy preschool class taught by Meaghan [different dog training facility in North Portland] During the years since then, Ari has had both in-home and outdoor private training lessons , as well as training walks, and doggie playdate training sessions with Meaghan. Meaghan even used to bring Ari on hiking adventures with a couple of other pups she’d be compatible with. Ari has always struggled making friends with other dogs. She’s a bit dog selective with a sprinkling of fear defensiveness. Mae always knows the best dogs to team her up with. Ari’s confidence has grown so much over the years working with Meaghan. Mae offered incredible advice and support when it came to me being a new dog mom. They are patient, kind and have so much insight and knowledge with not only my puppy but all of the pups I saw at their facility as well. We owe so much to Mae for helping us workout out anxiety/separation issues. We can’t recommend them enough!

I cannot recommend Meaghan with dog flower enough! She has helped me tremendously with my dog’s resource guarding issues, and the progress we’ve made is truly amazing. Her approach is calm, patient, and incredibly effective. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and always makes sure both my dog and I feel comfortable and confident. Not only is she knowledgeable and skilled, but she is also kind, understanding, and genuinely invested in our success. My dog absolutely adores her, which speaks volumes about her natural connection with animals. Meaghan is such a wonderful trainer and educator! My partner and I have been taking our youngest dog to the adolescent class and we can already see so much improvement in her social skills. I can't wait to get her enrolled in another class and possibly my older dog as well to brush up on her skills! Meaghan is so kind and you can tell they truly care about a dog's overall behavioral health. (:
