Dillsburg Veterinary Center

Very expensive when we had to have a couple of fatty tissue removed and when I found another one before surgery even crazier price to add that one. The vet herself very nice just not for people that on a fixed income.

In 2024, my beagle, Ellie, started having a lot of blood in her urine, so I took her to Dillsburg Veterinary Center and she was diagnosed with a UTI. She was given medication but still kept bleeding. I took her back to the vet center repeatedly and was told every time that it was a UTI. This went on for a few months but the bleeding never stopped. It actually kept getting worse. Finally, I decided to get a second opinion at a different vet’s office. The vet there immediately ordered an ultrasound of her bladder and she was diagnosed with a “huge” cancerous bladder tumor. I was told she had about 3 months to live and they were right; she passed away in October of that year. Getting that cancer diagnosis was horrible but I wish Dillsburg Vet Center had brought the possibility to my attentio

They took such good care of our dog, from beginning to end. Dr. Jacobs is sincere and trustworthy, while Dr. Hlatky is an absolute angel of mercy. We are so grateful for your compassion and expertise.

What a great place to take your furry babies. They are very professional and compassionate. I take all my babies there. Three cats 😺. They've taken care of me in a pinch. Dr. Jacobs is a wonderful veterinarian. Front desk ppl are understanding and friendly. Can't ask for a better veterinary hospital than Dillsburg. And also I like to say thank you for being there for Boogie. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

🐯UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL MARCH 2020 REVIEW: It's been 5 months since our first appt at DVC, and although my Cheetah baby will most likely have health problems going forward, or better said "FLARE UPS" from IBD, I couldn't be happier with the medical care Cheetah is receiving here from Dr. Amber &the wonderful staff 💚💛❤💜 3/2020 Wonderful Veterinarian Hospital, 10 🌟! Thank GOD for Google, that my mom found this place when she did. My beloved (soon to be 9 year old) feline baby named "Cheetah" was examined by Dr. Amber for the 1st time this past Wednesday morning and had an ultrasound completed (WITHOUT any type of waiting period or scheduling conflict thankfully) as a brand new patient, and I knew by the end of our appointment that this was going to be Cheetah's new full time Vet!
