Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School

I attended the program at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming school in January of 2026. After one day of theory class, which covered safety, blades, tools and grooming basics, we were grooming dogs on day two, with Nancy’s help. She stated that we would be grooming on our own by mid week of the second week, and she was absolutely correct. Nancy is wonderful teacher with an obvious love for the animals that are left in her care. It is a lot of work and pretty fast paced, but the curriculum and instruction at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School will prepare you to launch a career in dog grooming. Doug is also a groomer and has the tools and knowledge to properly sharpen blades and shears. Nancy and Doug are great people who run an outstanding program. I attended this two-week grooming course and was impressed by how much information was packed into the program. Nancy is very experienced and clearly passionate about the industry. The training moves quickly, so you have to stay focused and take initiative, but that also means you walk away with a lot of knowledge in a short amount of time. I especially appreciated learning practical techniques and industry tips that you don’t always find in online videos. Overall, it was a valuable experience and a solid introduction to professional grooming.

I just completed this course and got my certification on January 9th and I am so excited and happy. I have always loved animals, especially dogs, and have wanted a job with them since as long as I can remember and then I was told of diamond cut dog grooming school. I thought about it and I prayed about it and I decided to take the plunge and try to get certified in dog grooming. They were happy to answer all my questions before I even enrolled in the class and continued to be while I was in the class. I went into the class knowing barely anything about dog grooming and have left knowing more than I thought I ever could have. Nancy and Doug were SO helpful and fun to be around. They are flexible, kind, have so many awesome stories to listen to, have helped me, taught me so much, and more! I

Diamond cut dog grooming school was great. I learn better with hands on and that is majority of what we do here. I learned way more than I ever thought I could in 2 weeks! Let me start off by saying how amazing Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School is. Nancy and Doug are really special people, you can tell they really love what they are doing. I was very nervous when I started this school, but Nancy and Doug both made me feel at ease right away. The theory classes are full of so much information and to be able to do hands on work right away was a huge plus for me since I seem to learn better that way. Nancy has been very patient with me and always is there to give advice or corrections when you need it. The grooming knowledge that she is able to share is so valuable and I will use what she has taught me in my future. I'm so grateful to have found a school that has such flexible hours.
