Diamond-A-Kennels

Been taking our anxious dog here for a few years now and have other family members that also use them! Always super accommodating and kind! Our dog doesn’t like other dogs and has medications and they have always been great about all of it! We forgot a slow feed bowl there one year and the next year they had it for us still! We even adopted a kitten from one of the litters she had! Great people that love animals :)

These one star reviews are ridiculous. Debbie, Steve, and Katy are some of the most caring animal handlers around! Everytime our pups have gone there we have nothing but confidence in them! LIFELONG CUSTOMERS RIGHT HERE!!!

I would be cautious leaving your pet here. My experience in October of 2022 with my German Shepherd was concerning. I wasn't able to see where he was being kept, and my gut instinct told me something was off. The lady at the front desk was friendly, but the kennel attendant was not. When I checked on him the next day, in less than 24 hours he was absolutely saturated in urine and suffering from severe diarrhea. I collected his belongings and checked him out immediately. There was no way he was staying there for the rest of our vacation. I regret leaving him there initially.

When we move to Brunswick County NC in 1998, we searched for a reliable and trustworthy kennel for our baby, a Pomeranian. Diamond-a-kennel became our pets home away from home. The Somersets became extended family to us. From sometime in 1999 til 2021, we boarded not only our pom but later our shih-tzu there. I highly recommend this kennel. We have not gotten another pet since our last one died in 2021, but if I did I would not hesitate to board it at this facility. The care and love they have for animals is awesome, they love them as if they're their own and treat them like royalty.

We have been taking our dogs to Diamond A for about 18 years now, dogs passed and present. Debra and Katie take great care of them. They bathe and groom them if requested and they do a great job! I would not take my pets to any other kennel in this area. I highly recommend them!
