Devore Animal Shelter

I Adopted Montana on 1/8/2026 She got spayed Monday 1/12/2026 when I picked her up! She was wet had poop on her fur smelled terrible super skinny! The vets should be more sanitary with our fur babies! She is in a loving home now and we all love her so much! Thanks

UPDATE: I WAS PICKED! TY GRANDKIDS LIKE THE NAME BAGEL, SO BAGEL IT IS. Paula and Stephanie were very nice and professional. I inquired about a dog that was picked up in my neighborhood. I wanted to foster until I found the owner, but animal control picked her up first. I did find her owner who said I could adopt her because she was an escape artist. I put my name down to adopt her as soon as she is available. The shelter have her as Bagel and 10, but not altered. Her actual name is Jeter (pronounced Jeeter) she's 13 and spayed. Her birthday is 4/4/2012. (I have the papers from her owner for proof of spay) She may be an older dog, but she is full of life. I went to look at some dogs today and was really impressed. All the pens were clean. Clean water bowls. Not too overcrowded. I could feel the heaters were on. I spoke to one of the staff about a dog and he was very polite and informative. Several times I heard the staff talking to the dogs. Saw a dog I was interested in... Will be back.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with the Devore Animal Shelter foster program. The ladies who run it are incredibly kind, supportive, and always very responsive. They make sure foster parents have all the resources and guidance needed to properly care for the dogs. I truly appreciate how organized and helpful they are. I definitely plan on fostering again in the future and highly recommend this program to anyone considering fostering.

I transport dogs from here and go anywhere the dog needs to go to get to a new home. All the staff here are very nice.Never had an issue with anybody. The adoption process is fairly simple and quick.
