Delavan Lakes

I have been coming to Delavan Lakes for a few years now with 3 dogs and a cat. Our family loves Dr. Kevin and the staff! They have been transparent and amazing during every visit. I chose to write this today as my dog got incredibly anxious today about other dogs in for their visits. The ladies at the front were so gracious and warming to her needs to make her as comfortable as possible going back to the room. On top of our amazing tech today who treated her with so much care! I could not recommend and appreciate a better vet and staff then the one you will find at Delavan Lakes!

I have been taking my dog to Delavan Lakes for many years, 2009?, and her health declined rapidly. I scheduled a 10am appointment, 2 days prior, to have her put to sleep. I arrived right at 10. I waited with a severely stressed out dog and an emotional time for me, for over 35 minutes before she got the shunt. Another 15 minutes for her to receive the shots. They made sure services were paid within 20 minutes. $608. My friend paid $305 for the EXACT same services in Whitewater in July and was not made to wait almost an hour, less than 10 minutes for his dog in fact. Staff has been great over the years but this ending was prolonged agony. And the final payment extreme in times of financial stress for most people. Shame on you. This was my 3rd appointment at DLV and I have no complaints so far. The staff are friendly, all 3 vets we’ve seen have been incredible, and they’re very accommodating with same-day appointments. The waiting room is large with lots of places to wait that are out of the way of other patrons, which I appreciate. One of my dogs is highly anxious and has had bad vet experiences, but they approach him with care and patience which has already improved his vet anxiety. The costs are also reasonable compared to where I moved from, so I would highly recommend Delavan Lakes.

The staff at Delavan Lakes Vet clinic are the best. Very friendly, helpful and attentive to our precious dog. Our dog just loves to see all of them. Cant wait to try out the grooming they are offering

Had mixed experiences here. To be clear, my primary vet, Dr. Carroll, was extremely nice and accommodating. But also...I was incoherently and inexplicably financially penalized for cancelling appts, which, as a disabled person, is unfortunately a thing beyond my control. This spurred the first time that the clinic owner alluded to his desk staff being incompletely informed (as they could not tell me why *I*, specifically, couldn't schedule without prepaying.) After expressing my displeasure with this policy and my resolve to go elsewhere, the clinic owner apologized and waived the arbitrary and discriminatory requirement. But then...
