Jeff is very knowledgeable about carpet and is also very up front and honest and incredibly informative about all things carpet. I truly felt like I was making an informed decision with my choices. The installation team was very professional and incredibly proficient in getting the job done quickly and well done. Our basement now looks fantastic!

This is my second time doing business with Dayton Carpet Liquidators. My most recent purchase was whole house carpet replacement in October 2025 and I was really impressed with this business and their employees. They kept me informed about my carpet order, the installation process and they really went above and beyond making sure everything was to my satisfaction. We have been Dayton Carpet customers for over 20 years. The owner (Jeff), staff and installers are focused on providing a quality product and excellent customer service at a reasonable price. We were not pressured in any way to purchase flooring and even encouraged to take samples home on more than one occasion. We ordered all of our flooring at the same time, but were unable to have it all installed at the time. Jeff held on to our flooring until we were ready to have it installed and never pressed us to get it out of their warehouse. The installers are consummate professionals and the end product was nothing short of excellent. Everything was smooth sailing until the day of installation… I’ve requested that carpet be installed in my master bedroom and walk-in closet. One of the installers kindly pulled me aside and explained that to get the carpet in the closet, it might scuff my newly painted walls. I appreciated the transparency and let him know that would be fine since I would have to do some minor paint touch-ups once the carpet was installed anyway. He said he and his team could touch up the paint since they were the ones making the scuffs and I have stated that that wouldn’t be necessary and that they SHOULD NOT touch up the walls with paint. An hour goes by and I get pulled to the side again by the same worker who told me about scuffing the wall and proceeds to tell me that they did do paint touch-ups and

The carpet we selected is quite comfortable and feels good on bare feet. The service was great and the installers were quick and professional. We felt that the cost was reasonable. We recommend Dayton Carpet without reservations.
