Our adoption experience was truly wonderful thanks to Jenny. From start to finish, she made the process feel welcoming, supportive, and joyful. Jenny took the time to understand us and answer every question with patience and care. Her genuine love for the animals and her kindness toward us made the experience both smooth and meaningful. Because of Jenny, we felt confident, supported, and excited as we welcomed Lake (formerly known as Mr. Fyn) into our family. The Humane Society is incredibly lucky to have her.
My roommate recently adopted a 3-month-old kitten from Petco, which partners with this humane society. At the time of adoption, the kitten had a cloudy, inflamed eye, and was sneezing. No illness or contagious condition was disclosed during the adoption process, despite my roommate clearly stating that two other cats already lived in the household. Within days, my roommate’s 1-year-old cat began developing watery, goopy eyes and sneezing. Shortly after that, my 5-month-old kitten—who had previously been perfectly healthy—developed the same symptoms, which quickly escalated. Two days after her first signs of illness, my kitten was unable to open her right eye due to swelling and thick yellow discharge. Veterinarians have since diagnosed all three cats with upper respiratory infections (URI
Jacinda & Jason really care about the pets in their care & the people that come in.im trying to decide between Makita & Xavier now, but I know 1 of them is coming home with me.
We adopted our sweet girl Nova (previously known as Fairy) from here. She is the brightest light in our family! The workers were so helpful and kind and clearly loved her very much as well. She’s a 90lb lap dog who loves to play as much as she loves to nap. On adoption they suggested training for her “counter surfing” issue and she has responded fabulously:)
We adopted our fur baby Rex from this shelter and have nothing but great things to say! Our sweet boy was well cared for and well trained right out of the gate. While I know its not a sure thing the animals will be potty trained I do still just want to compliment the amazing staff. We could really tell our boy was taken care of and worked with. He’s been a blessing for our family and we appreciate this shelter for all they did in bringing him to us! The staff was kind, and you can tell they truly care for all of the animals. Highly recommend giving them a visit!
