I'd adopted a 6 mo old German Shepherd (GSD) from a rescue in July. Although I've trained my previous GSD's from puppyhood on I wanted a solid foundation for my new baby-dog since she was older. Manny (and the Mrs.) gave my pup more consistency with basic commands, worked with me to refocus my handling techniques, and gave my big puppy lots of love. The only thing I would mention is the standard heel command that Dawgs and Stripes trains is a loose leash. If you're looking for a tighter heel, make sure that is clear up front so there's no confusion for the dog. Thanks Manny!

I can’t thank Manny enough!! My dog Teo has come such a long way with his obedience training. He listens so well now I’m still in shock. I work from home, and having a well-trained dog has made my life SO much easier. Walks are actually enjoyable now that he doesn’t pull on the leash, and he’s so much calmer overall. My dad even took him on a walk the other day and said he did way better than both of our family dogs lol! I’m just so proud of how far he’s come and so grateful for Manny! He completely transformed my boy and I feel like I have my sanity back (not to be dramatic but it’s true). I cannot recommend him enough!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Manny and our dogs. He bent over backwards to work with us coming to our home and taking two of our dogs to be with him for three weeks apiece. He is always very accessible and thoughtful and caring we were able to bring all of our concerns to him and he always responded right away and on the money. I can’t imagine that any dog trainer can be as good as Manny. We just think he is amazing.
