As a child, I grew up taking my pets to Dr. Pelura and now as an adult, I am fortunate enough to continue but for many additional reasons! Once I started breeding, Dr. Pelura continued being my go-to for many reasons. Breeding: The office staffs attention, love and genuine care for every puppy from every litter I have bred. The respect shown for me as a breeder. Dr. Pelura & Staff encourages the aspect of my breeding program that includes photos, videos during each puppies exam. We absolutely love Dr. Pelura and team. Coming from a family of farmers and large animal vets, we are very picky about where we take our beloved pets. This is an old-fashioned style veterinary clinic where you will feel like one of the family. Still coming to this vet after 6 1/2 years. The staff care cares about all the pets and the owners like family. They’ve helped one pet across the bridge and they’ve helped with many surgeries and issues that were hard on my babies. They truly do care about your furry ones. Client for life. Amazing vet!! The best vet and care team around, hands down!

Had to take a chicken in need of help to the Clinic today. Called several vets & nobody wanted to see a chicken because of bird flu. Christie from Biggies in Gambrills recommended them. They took me almost immediately. Dr Pelura spent a fair amount of time trying to save my chicken. It wasn’t bird flu. The doctor & his staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, my chicken did not make it, but she did not suffer. I have already called my sister recommending the Clinic. I’m definitely a forever customer.
