We first would like to Thank Morgan for helping us set up everything and explaining in thorough detail of what to expect and made us feel comfortable about dropping our 3 month old pup, Shelby off. Our trainer Natalie went over everything again about the program and what we would like to have her train/work on with Shelby. Every day we received videos and pictures from Natalie. Giving us honest feed back how Shelby was doing. When we picked her up after the 2 week training, Shelby had gotten a fresh bath and Natalie went over everything with us and taught us what commands to use and how to continue with her training at home. Amazing Trainer! Nellie worked with Mina our rambunctious 11 month old German Shepherd. From the intake process to the 3 week board and train Nellie was wonderful explaining the schedule and keeping us in the loop by sending us photos and videos of Mina’s progress. I was amazed watching the videos. Mina was actually engaging with Nellie, listening and following her commands. When pick-up day arrived Nellie shared great techniques and thoroughly explained the training to us and we all agreed it is the people who need to be trained and the dog will follow. We learned so much about how we can do better and really appreciated Nellie’s knowledge and insights. She was very generous with her time. AmericanK9 is a beautifully maintained facility. Krys and her team do a fantastic job of raising well adjusted and socialized puppies. It is evident that she pours her heart and soul into her dogs. Going above and beyond other breeders, she sent pictures weekly to make you feel part of the process from the very beginning. She also offers anyone opportunities to play with and help socialize the puppies. I really enjoyed her puppy development class which started at 2 weeks. Krys is always available to answer questions and does so much to help transition pups to their new families. She even sent each family home with a care package. Her love for what she does is clear. Sarah O. Was amazing to work with. She did an amazing job not only training our pup, but also providing daily pictures, videos, and updates. This helped us to see his progress but also set my mind at ease that he was safe and well cared for. She also took the time to train our family so that we can reinforce all of her training at home. Morgan was also very helpful with the administrative tasks. Overall, we are very happy with American Canine and would recommend!!
