I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary office. From the moment we walked in, the person at the front desk was kind, compassionate, and incredibly communicative. Throughout the entire visit, they kept us informed of all upfront costs before moving forward with any procedures, which I truly appreciated. There were no surprise charges at the end.Transparency like that is rare and so valued. The medical staff and doctor treated my dog with such gentleness and patience. He’s a senior dog (Staffordshire bull terrier) who had never been to a vet before. Every single person went above and beyond to make him feel safe and comfortable. The doctor and technician took the time to thoroughly explain each condition, answer all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed. Yo

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. When I scheduled my appointment, I was given a clear price over the phone for a technician nail trim. However, when it came time to pay, the amount I was charged was noticeably higher with no prior explanation or approval. I understand that sometimes costs can change based on what’s needed, but transparency is extremely important — especially when it comes to pet care. I would have appreciated being informed before any additional charges were added, rather than being surprised at checkout. Honest communication goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was lacking in this visit.

I’ve been coming to Dale City Animal Hospital for over 20 years and always satisfied with each visit. This last visit was for my 10 year old Golden. I had to take Winston to the ER Vet in Manassas because he swallowed pieces of a frisbee and he vomited up a piece. Long story short the ER Vet did a great job, endoscopy to get all the plastic pieces out. I left the ER with no medication except one pill for nausea and Winston was having a hard time with nausea after that one pill and then he had diarrhea that would actually ooze out while he was just laying there. I called Dale City and they took me in at the last minute as their last customer on a Friday. They checked Winston out and prescribed him some medication to help with all the above. I recently went to Dale City Animal Hospital w a foster cat I have. They recently moved and have a new facility which is large, clean and very welcoming. I got an appointment approximately a week or so after I called. The front desk staff was courteous and nice and I was checked in right after arriving. I did wait a little for my appointment but that’s pretty standard for a veterinary office. We saw Dr Drake whom I found to be very informative and was willing to listen to my concerns, which I had a lot of. I really liked the way she seems to summarize her findings and she was gentle and compassionate with my foster who is an older cat who has not had the best life before coming into our rescue. Friendly staffs and doctors. I Have brought two of my dogs had all their teeth work done and just brought them in for their annual visit and the doctor was very friendly and very patient with my pets. She explained everything in detail and also printed out all her recommendations for better health for them.
