CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets - West Palm Beach

We are so thankful to Dr. Rivera and his kind staff for the care shown to our fur baby Happy. The experience has been reassuring. We were hesitant at first not knowing what to expect but after my dog had fainting spells (syncope) we really needed to have a Cardiologist see him. I highly recommend the Cardiologist Dr. Paul Rivera. He is dedicated to his profession. An Echocardiogram is the single most important thing neccessary for your pet if they have cardiac issues! Without an Echocardiogram you simply cannot know what is the best treatment plan. You will be guessing with medications and they may not work. I am greatful for Dr. Rivera because not only did he access the issue after seeing the Echocardiogram but there was also emphasis on kidney care not just the heart. I am glad this was

I cannot say enough good things about doctor Rivera and staff. my cat can be very mean At the vet and very stressed out and be difficult to work with. But they did everything they could to make him comfortable and calm for his visit Today. they were extremely inFormative friendly and patient and made me feel at ease.

The expertise here is absolutely worth the money. If your dog needs a cardiologist, this is the place to go. Dr. Rivera was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable while caring for Cooper. He took the time to explain everything clearly and treated Cooper with so much compassion. The entire staff was warm, gentle, and truly supportive during a very emotional time. I’m deeply grateful for the care and kindness.

Dr. Rivera and all of the vet techs, resident and staff have met my expectations and exceeded what has come to be the normal level of service. I have very high expectations and many places leave me disappointed. Every single person I dealt with at cvca was kind, professional, patient, caring, experienced, knowledgeable and they never once hesitated to answer a question, come to the phone (Dr or vet techs), send me thorough and detailed emails. I just can’t say enough good things about everyone here. My dog needed an echocardiogram before a teeth cleaning. His heart is worse than I expected, but with the sound advice and proper prescriptions, he’s already improving in just five days. (He wears a muzzle because he’s aggressive towards strangers).

Mitral valve disease on left side and valvular disease on the right side had us traveling to the U of F in Gainesville for years. Then, our favorite, Board Certified Veterinary Cardiologist was here in Palm Beach County. Dr. Rivera found a spot for Jet Jet in his busy calendar and we feel very lucky to be in.
