Culpeper County Animal Control

My mom adopted some cats with this amazing shelter and Alex was SO helpful and extremely kind! She was so patient as my mom and I just bonded with all the cats and answered all our questions. And they didn’t take long to approve her application and let her take her sweet babies home. Made our day and Olivers and sabels Thank you!!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable, we were not expecting to find our fur baby visiting the first place we went but we are happy we stopped by this place. We met a few dogs but one of them we knew right away that we needed her just as much as she needed us. Medusa was her name but now we call her Harley Ray, and she's just as much of a part of us as we are a part of her. The staff was friendly and gave us the time we needed to make our decision. Highly recommend!

I am dealing with a very hard situation with my family and 2 dogs and I leave a voice mail explaining everything and I get a call back and the receptionist was very rude and not helpful whatsoever I have never in my life experienced something so rude and inappropriate I was asking for help and got talked down to like I’m a child I would never trust my animals or anyone else’s animals with this business very unprofessional and childish this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a shelter.

They are super!!!! We just lost our 14yr old pit and picked up Rascal to give a special dog a good home.. he is so sweet and gentle and smart. We could not have gotten a better fit for our home with his new sister Ellie. Thank you to the culpeper county animal shelter for our family member!

Animal Control was extremely helpful in removing a suffering opossum from my yard. I am thankful for the knowledge and meaningful communication of those who assisted.
