Crestwood Court Veterinary Clinic

The vet was friendly enough. The reason for the 2 stars is because I took my other dog to this location 9 or 10 years ago when it was Companion Pet Clinic. "Crestwood Court" had a promotion on their website for new clients getting a free first checkup. I thought that was great! I just moved back to town and that gives me a chance to check them out, as I had just adopted a new pomeranian. So when I called to make the appointment, I specifically asked the person on the phone if that promotion was applicable since they are a different clinic, it's a new pet, and when I went to that location previously it was almost 10 years ago. She said yes, my baby would qualify for the free initial visit. So I made the appointment to have her seen and get a quote to have her chipped and spayed. After my b

Dr L and the staff were great with Buddy and Grrl. Had to dope up Buddy and bring him back but we got the job done. :) techs and front staff are great too.

We've been going here for about a year and a half and we really liked the vet techs, Dr. Joe, and Dr. Clemetson. However, we had our first poor care experience with what seemed to be a new vet. We came in to get an open cyst on my dog looked at, and she didn't offer much information on care or maintenance after telling us we'd have to come back in a couple months. For context, my dog had an open wound on his back. I had to pry care info out of her. I also noticed another small bump on his back while we were there, and when I asked what it was, she just shrugged it off as a skin tag. I realized once I was home that it was definitely another cyst. Nail in the coffin was realizing their Thrive program is a total scam. Switched both of my dogs to this location because I'm travel nursing and it's near my property when I come home for visits. I've never been nickel and dimed so much. My pups are both seniors now. I was just blown away that I was charged $200 for each of my dogs to have 1 dose of bravecto. I was like how is this $200??? The receptionist said I'm being charged $5 per written script.... since when are we charging for written scripts??? Never have I been charged for a written script at a doctors office or my pups from a vet office. Most vet offices call or fax everything in these days. This is insane!
