Crawford County Humane Society

We dropped off several large boxes of food for the kitties in memory of our Snickers. Our greeter was so kind about her passing. He shared there are openings for volunteers to play with the kitties for one-hour intervals. 🫂🐾

Crawford County Humane Society has great pets to adopt. The girls that work behind the counter do a great job. Definently go there to adopt a pet. Just stay away from the young male manager. He is not a nice man. He is very argumentative with customers and talks to you like your a criminal grilling you with questions and giving you a hard time. A very rude young man! They should replace him with someone who understands customer service and treating people with respect.

If I could make this a 0 star review I would! The president of the humane society here started screaming at two state troopers for helping us get 2 beautiful loving stray dogs into the shelter last night. They were dumped off and we decided to help get them into a safe place where they could find new owners to love them. All day looking for a shelter the state police helped us find that, this “president” starts driving recklessly into the parking lot screaming at these two officers and yelling at us, refusing to take these dogs in. I hope this goes to show he’s just another person caring about a paycheck and not for what these buildings actually stand for “saving abused, and neglected animals”.

Love my dog, he is just lovely and everyone was polite enough. They just.. lied though. Told us the wrong breed (we got him checked he is NOT just a boxer he’s also a pit bull). I am not being hateful, but some people are very, very scared of them, and i get you want all of them adopted, but lying is just wrong. I love Pittys more than anyone, and i can even admit that’s absolutely inappropriate and kinda scary. Please do not do that. Other than that, absolutely great experience! My boyfriend even asked if it had Pitt Bull in him, and the girl kept saying “ no no he doesn’t, that’s so weird you think that.. I don’t see it” type thing. You can clearly see it in him. Not everyone knows what a boxer pitt mix looks like though.

They were awesome and friendly and the process was fast...Im so happy I got to adopt my sweet little kitten!
