My cat, Zephyr, and I are grateful beyond words!!!!! I recently moved back to NY and didn't have a regular vet setup yet when my cat required emergency dental extractions. Every other vet I called (I called many!) required multiple, costly pre-procedure visits before they would do any dental procedures. My cat was in pain with an active infection in his mouth and this was unacceptable!! Not only was Crawford Animal Hospital the most affordable, but I was able to walk in without an appointment and have his procedure done on the same day!! Crawford Vet is truly the best. From the front desk staff to the techs in the back and the veterinarians themselves — every single person is compassionate, patient, and kind. They deal with my anxiety-filled, crazy self with nothing but understanding, and they treat my dog with so much love and care. Wow! What a surprisingly great vet experience! My sweet Oriental cat had a painful ear infection and needed to be seen the same day. I was happy to find out that Crawford takes walk-ins. It's first come, first serve. The entire team is friendly and caring. The wait was not long at all. Dr. Josh was great with my cat. He treated the infection, did a nail trim and provided his meds. All my questions were answered clearly and I was out in less than an hour. My experience with others vets has made fear pet emergencies. Same day clinics add on a premium fee before the cost of the visit, procedures, bloodwork. Then there's a huge markup on meds and supplies. NOT HERE! Really happy with this vet. I saw that my 15 year old cat had a ruptured anal gland on Saturday night and I called on Sunday to so many vets. Everyone turned us away or referred us to a ER. Finally I called CAH who allowed us to come in as a walk-in. There was a long wait (1.5hr) but completely worth it to me. Dr. Josh saw our cat and gave us a breakdown of his needed procedure and treatment and was able to pick up on Tuesday morning. He has a straightforward bedside manner which I really appreciate bc I didn’t feel I was getting sold on other unnecessary things- I just wanted my cat to get better and the doc did too. Price was extremely reasonable especially in this area. Thank you again, Dr. Josh and team for caring for my old man. He is all better and doing amazing.

We have been using Dr. Gary for all of our dogs for many years. We recently had to put our Havanese, Oliver down. Gary was extremely compassionate and helped us through the whole process. Dr. Gary was extremely helpful and assured us that our dog was going to be in a better place. Consider yourself lucky if you have a vet like Dr. Gary. He is one in a million.
