Countryside Veterinary Service - Middlefield

I took my guinea pig Jax here for a checkup. They were absolutely amazing. I expressed my concerns when making an appointment and they got me in the day of. They were so nice and gentle with him. They also answered all of the questions I had about him and how to better care for him and my other sweet piggy that I have. They totally put my mind at ease about everything I was concerned about with him. It was also a very reasonably priced visit too which was a plus. I will definitely be coming back to take my miss piggy here eventually for her own checkup.

I first visited Countryside a few months ago when I brought in 3 dogs for a friend that was out of town. I have a 14 year old Chihuahua, and I guess I treat him like an old school dog, he gets plenty of love, but I’m not a big believer in the whole”health” aspect of things. He was my daughter’s dog, and she went off to college, and I re-inherited him. Anyway, after my experience with my buddy’s dogs, I decided to make an appointment for my dog. I probably pass 4 or 5 other veterinary offices on the way to Countryside, as I believe they are the best around. I’ve been to a couple other spots over the years, for emergency services mainly, and up to this point, I think I was more ready to leave than the dog. I bought a dog from Rescue Village and in order to do so, made a pledge to get a *free* (with RVillage voucher) veterinary exam. Countryside Veterinary Service was one on the list. I made an appointment within the time Rescue Village required. Was made to wait (with my new anxious dog) as they were running late. Then, they whisked my dog away and did not allow me to attend, and hidden behind closed doors, administered blood tests and inoculations I did not authorize, all of which my dog was already up to date on. My *free* exam ended up costing me over $400, and they held my dog hostage until I paid for services I wasn't even provided opportunity to decline before they imposed them on my dog, and on my pocketbook. I told them today that this has been my favorite vet office that we've ever had. From the front desk, to the assistants, nurses and vets, we just like every single one of them we've met. They do such a great job explaining everything and keeping us well informed. And it feels like they truly love and care for our fur babies as if they were their own. It's scary dropping off our babies but I feel like they are so safe with them. Tooth surgery went well today, thank you so much ladies for taking care of our girl ❤️

Scarlett in the front is AMAZING! Always warm, inviting, and friendly! Technician Pam was INCREDIBLE! My girl is not the best at getting her nails done, but I knew she was in good hands with Pam! Love CVSM!!
