Stood around in the fish area of the Ontario store for about 20 minutes waiting for the three kids on their phones to do their jobs. They were far more interested in doing whatever on their phones than taking care of customers. Won't be back.

Would not recommend. Not only do none of the workers know how to do anything but the quality of the things they have is terrible. Bought fish and they died within 24 hours. Went back to get a refund and new fish. The new fish we got died yet again. Conner, a manager, told us “we were doing something wrong.” It’s a new tank and we properly acclimated them to the water, the way we were told. And we use pre-conditioned aquarium water so there is no problem with the water. I do not recommend buying any fish from there as they just die immediately and they have terrible customer service.

What a nice place to deliver. I’m a semi-truck driver. Just unloaded 26 pallets of cedar mulch here. That guy on the forklift is a god, it take 5 or 10 mini unloading those pallet, some place take more than an hour doing this. He’s fast and know how to work. Thank you very much for making our job easier 👌👌👌

Ontario Country Max is a great store! I love coming in and strolling around and looking at all the cool stuff they sell. Items range from pet supplies to pet food, outdoor decorations, fish, ferrets, birds and reptiles. They are all well taken care of until the time of purchase and come with money back guarantees. The pond in the middle of the store sells coy fish and they carry a wide variety of mice, for pets or food, your choice. The store is large so make sure to wear your good pants and you'll spend quite a bit of time walking so maybe stretching a bit before heading in will be helpful. The inside is clean and the staff here are very helpful when needed but sometimes you might have slight trouble trying to find a staff member if you need help.
