Finding a boarding and training facility where our girl felt comfortable and confident was a big priority for us, and we know she is taken care of when she stays with Ericka. Additionally, Princess attended a 3-week Board & Train program with Country Roads Canine Training Center earlier this year (January 2025). I adopted my Great Dane from a rescue in June, and after about a month, I realized he had severe anxiety and fear based aggression. Ericka and her staff know exactly how to work with your dog and form a relationship where your pet wants to follow commands and wants to please you and in return you receive back your dog having exceeded all of your expectations. This little corgi of ours is true to her breed and would herd our children from a very young age up until she went to board and train. She did not know or listen to any commands prior. In just 2 short weeks she has mastered about 8 commands, walks better on a leash, is working on off leash and is doing very well staying on place. My daughter wanted a best friend corgi and they are both working hard on that relationship. I cannot recommend Ericka and her team enough! Signing up for training at Country Roads Canine Training Center was literally the best thing I have ever done for my dog and myself. I have a 3 year old corgi who was getting more and more aggressive with dogs. Everyone in my family has dogs. So, this meant that I could no longer bring him to their homes, which meant limited visits. After the 3 week board and train program not only does he listen to typical training commands (he did not before) he can now accompany me to my family's homes without issue.
