Briggs Animal Adoption Center

This place was incredible. VERY clean, it doesn't even smell like an animal kennel when you walk in. The cat room is awesome as well. The staff are kind and helpful and you can tell they all love animals. They do have a rather strict adoption checklist, but you know that you are getting a well cared for pet and they know the pet is going to the right home.

We are a very pleased with the Briggs adoption center and the wonderful facility they have for the animals. They really care about all of their animals and made it a wonderful experience when we adopted our dog. They are pleasant, helpful and always willing to answer questions. The staff made the process of adoption, so easy and caring. I found it wonderful that they want news about our dog even after he was adopted. They maintain an interest in the animals they cared for at the Center. I would give a five star recommendation to this facility in West Virginia and encourage anyone that wants to adopt To go there and check it out.

Everyone was super nice, caring and helpful at Briggs. I ended up being chosen by Ruth the cat. I call her Ruthie or Baby Ruth. It took a week for her to come out of hiding, but now I can hardly sit down without her hopping onto my lap. She's a fun and loving addition to my home.

We adopted Sadie from here a few short weeks ago. She fits perfectly in our family. Briggs is very clean, the facility is very nice and the animals seem very well cared for. Would recommend them if you are looking for a place to adopt from

I was a kid when I got my first ever dog. Her name was Skylar and she came from Briggs Animal Shelter. They take amazing care of their animals, and I have recommended it to coworkers and friends when it comes to finding their next fuzzy friend! Skylar has since passed, but I hope to adopt from Briggs again in the future.
