Cotati Dog Grooming

Picked our dog up and had to take her straight to the emergency vet. We don’t know yet what is wrong with her, but I guess they knew something was off before they started. She currently cannot stand on her own. She would not stand up for the groom and they continued to groom her for hours rather than call us to make sure she was ok, they just called to say it was going to take a while. I tried talking to the owner about a solution/compensation, but I am not comfortable with taking my dog back to be neglected. The vet requires a deposit to see our dog and the owner said she will Venmo me the money, but beyond that she did not apologize for her employee’s negligence. On top of that it was over $200 for a groom on a doodle with some mats which is more than we are used to paying. I will update

*Update: tried to make an appointment here again and they wouldn’t cut his hair. They also had someone answer who was pretty rude on the phone. Canceled our appointment sadly, and disheartening after I gave them a 33% tip and 5 star review last time. Very worth the quality low cost. I have a large unruly (hair is pretty crazy too) golden doodle, and they fit him in for a bath, clipping, expression, and ear cleaning. He was done within 3 hours which gave me ample time to drive to the city to complete a couple important errands with my baby (it was the weekend; no traffic lol). Dropped him off at 12, picked him up at 3. They kept him for an hour after they called to let me know he was finished! Super nice staff, and he looked like a gentleman when we picked him up!

The girls working there are amazing. You can tell they really love dogs, and that is one of the most important thing to me when it comes to selecting who is interacting with my dog. Granted, I only took my dogs there for a few times to get her nails trimmed but the ladies did such an amazing job in virtually no time. I cannot cut my dog's nails; her nails are black and I'm doing such a sloppy job that she always runs away from me. But at this place, she is literally in and out and she always comes out happy. Prices are VERY reasonable as well, and I would strongly recommend this place. The great thing is that they accept "walk-ins" until noon.
