I am so beside myself the treatment my mother in law received this morning. She already had to do one of the hardest things bringing her beloved pet in to be put down. From when she walked in to the end of the service, the treatment towards her and her dog were unprofessional and gross. She was understandably very clearly upset and when she went to go out back with Dr Anderson he told her she was not allowed out back with her dog while he was being put down. She had been going here for her animals care for 35 years. She knows that was not the policy. Then while she waited she heard her dog screaming. Unsettled she demanded to go out back and, Dr Anderson stated that they needed to put a catheter in him and not give a shot. My MIL said that is not how it works there should be a shot to go
This practice used to be owned by compassionate, good folks (first by the Fallons, then Dr. Green). Now, under new ownership, presumably Dr. Anderson, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The vet techs, Alexis in specific, are the only good ones left but we can no longer trust our pets to be cared for here. Policies have changed under this new management and now they do not allow pet owners to go in the back with their pets while they are being put down, which resulted in one of our poor elderly deaf and blind chihuahuas to screech the entire time he was being poked and prodded by a stranger in his final moments. Meanwhile, my mom was forced to listen from the waiting room. Had we known this was going to be the case, we would have went elsewhere, but didn’t even think to ask since we
I love the staff here. Dr Green is thorough and takes time to listen and guide. There's been recent staff shortages, but it never affected the wonderful care they give. They have since added some wonderful vet techs and a new doctor. And they haven't been bought out by Ethos, which allows them to still provide personable, quality care.
Dr. Amy and her staff are excellent and very attentive to your pets needs. We are new to the practice and feel very confident in their care of our dog.
Thank You for all the great care and love you gave to our Willow especially on her last day. You kept Willow comfortable and she loved all the petting, kind words and gentle care you gave her throughout her time there! Thank You so much! Alan & Betsey
