Great place for dual purpose Narcotics and Eplosives detection dogs as well as tracking and bite work! My dog, A Belgian Malinois named Bane, can now pinpoint narcotics from 50 yards away and bite stronger. Consistent work with Danny has brought him to this point, because of him being thorough in his work and explaining his reason behind every behavior, trait, and skill. We are a better team because of Compass K9’s Advanced Training. There are always other dogs there who are all well behaved and trained. I’d trust Danny with my dog or any dog for that matter!

We had adopted a dog that was badly mistreated. He even had broken tail and ribs from previous owner. We named him Lucky because his tail was broken in the shape of a number 7. No matter how much we loved on him he would think we were going to hurt him. So after a couple of years of trying ourselves I broke down and found Daniel Spooner with Compass K-9 and he performed nothing less than a miracle. It was not just training Lucky but training my dad and I how to read him and think like Lucky so we could understand his point of view! We were blessed enough to inherit our GSD, Radar Love, when our beloved Aunt Maureen passed away. We usually traveled with Maureen, so we never spent a great deal of time with Radar at her place in Mississippi. He always stayed with his trainer, Danny, when we traveled. We truly didn’t think we were cool enough to have a dog like Radar: sleek, handsome, and humongous. Maureen’s friend Kathy and I drove Radar from Hernando, MS to his new home in Butte, MT in the middle of February. We took our time and had absolutely no worries going into multiple hotels, spotting the bridges of Madison county at sunset, hiking the doggie trail at Mount Rushmore, strolling through the Harley store at Sturgis, and finally rolling into Butte to meet our two dogs and one cat.
