Trash people answer the phone. Called in a cat hoarding situation discovered 3 days prior while in-state working professionally. It's bad, im talking the smell of death permeating around the house bad. Waited until the weekend to call it in to remain anonymous and get scolded by a Karen on the phone for not calling it in 3 days ago, then she hangs up when I ask her what's with the attitude. She rage quit the convo before even getting the home address. Meanwhile the homeowner's neighbors have been letting it fester for years and years. I see now why nobody bothers contacting these people about it. Ego above animals over there. Saturday 03.07.26 2pm

Found a young dog loose near old Brownsville and Billy maher on my way home for lunch. I live in bartlett and a block from the shelter. Took the the to bartlett animal shelter thinking they would help. That was not the case. I was told where I found the dog, which was about 1/2 mile from the shelter right outside the subdivision of river crest, they would not accept the dog and I needed to take the the to memphis animal services miles away. When I questioned and said I can't take the dog, the the woman who i took as person in charge or supervision Threatened me with citation. No compassion, no care for the well being of the animal in my opinion. Deplorable person. Went to memphis shelter, spent hours of my day missing work and getting run around. Offered 0 help for a dog I found down the street. Didn’t want to take him because I didn’t post him on Facebook. Animal shelters are supposed to help.

It was super easy to adopt. They don't take any animals in from outside the Bartlett area so FYI. We first got to look at the dogs then got to play with the one we liked. Then once a selection was chosen, then came paperwork. Two pages and then the payment. After that the dog was ours. The dog comes with alot so it have a good email address. They were not rude and very helpful. Loved the experience.
