Our issue is that we made a family decision to proceed with surgery, because in the post visit write up that we received from Dr McCain, it was stated that our dog would live 6 to 9 months if what was found in the labs was cancerous and it would be curative if it wasn't cancerous. Considering economic situations and financial hardships, we, as a family opted for surgery, which according to the Dr. McCain’s notes we received, would have given us at least 6 months with Lucky. We paid the money, had surgery, and he passed less than 24 hours after the surgery. A different Vet at the Medical Emergency Center, where we then took Lucky, told us that he would have only lived 1-3 months either way and there is nothing that could have been done. I am especially grateful for the kind, personable staff that greet me whenever my hubby or I bring one of our babies in for care. They are clear in explaining what treatments (injections or other preventative meds are due), and provide us with any other info pertinent to the care of our dog (Midnight) and our feline (Max). Kudos to the entire staff. They are a great group. Thanks, guys!

These are before and after pictures of my little yorkie (Chewbacca) he needed to be groomed and my original groomer was booked for 2 months so I decided to get him groomed here. He has separation anxiety so he continues to constantly bark if left alone which I informed them when I dropped him off. They did a great job on his hair and I will consider using them in the future. They informed me when I picked him up that he would not be still that's what took so long 9 am to 4 pm. His original groomer always says he isn't a problem so maybe it was from this being a new place and maybe they did things differently than what he is used to. Regardless they did a great job on his grooming and he smelled terrific when I picked him up.

Dr Gilbert and staff have been caring for our family pets for over 20 years. I want to thank them all. This is Princess, she is 16 yrs old and still laying around, This is what cats do!!!

Took care of my Baby Bear (which is a cat, not a bear) with care and expertise. I was able to get everything we needed done without breaking our bank account. Definitely will return soon with our now pregnant cat, the reason Bear had to see the doctor, for evaluation.
