Dr Cheramie is our vet and we LOVE her.... well not so sure about Poppy but he is an old grump. Not only are her vet skills excellent but her bed side manner with not so friendly pups like Poppy goes above and beyond! If you need a great vet make your appt with Dr Cheramie and you will not be disappointed!

Nikki and Dr. Eymard did a wonderful job caring for my precious beagle. They were attentive to watching his signals and spent time taking with us and explaining what was going on with our little lad. Also, I called and was in front of the doctor within an hour. Meant so much to not have to drive to Mandeville for this kind of service.

Dr. Wheat and his team are compassionate, professional and dedicated. I brought my beloved Kitty-Kitty into Dr. Wheat and he went so far above and beyond in researching her very complicated condition even taking time out of his busy schedule in Baton Rouge to call me personally multiple times throughout her care with updates and check-ins. Dr. Wheat's efforts gave me an extra year with by darling doggie and I will be forever grateful to him and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Wheat and his team to care for your fur babies.

Brought Pixie Lou to get checked out for a lump on her side. It was her first visit w Dr Cheramie and we both loved her. I was very worried and she made me feel at ease and in the end gave me great news that it was a lipoma! We will b seeing her again when it’s time for her check up.

My experience with the clinic is a bit different than most. I will not give this place a 5 star rating, zero would be better if it existed. This is the bottom line: two dogs went to same vet clinic same day, given same anti nausea shot , both dogs died. This event occurred Saturday, August 30, 2025. The odds of these events occurring are astronomical. I should have taken my baby, Sam, to MedVet in the beginning. When I was going through my experience at MedVet, I met this wonderful lady who I had never seen before. Through her compassion, we shared our stories of lost that brought us together.
