Doctors Moss and Wicklund are the best vets we’ve ever seen. Dr. Wicklund’s gentle bedside manner extends to humans as well and I can’t imagine a better person to deliver devastating news. The entire clinic staff is full of compassionate people who are so attentive to mitigating feline clinic anxiety that I was surprised to see dogs are treated here too, and with just as much respect and love. I can’t say enough to thank and praise Commencement Bay Animal Hospital for the excellent care they give to our fur babies.

Fiona just had her first vet visit and she did great. Very professional and it was like she didn’t want to leave. Thank you Commencement Bay. We will be back!!

I brought my cat here as the old vet used to see her. I was not happy with how they treated my cat. She had what I thought was blood in her urine. The vet said she needed to stay there for a couple hours. So I went to work, had not received any phone calls, I had called 3 times, the first time they said she was still waiting (this was a few hours after I dropped her off). I called again about 30 minutes before they closed, and said I could come get her. Once I got there, they said she had peed on herself, and that I should give her a bath when I get home. I would expect, if my cat had an accident they would cleaned her up a bit. My family was also very upset with her visit there. They had left a bad and was quick to call about a bad review but weeks went by and I did not receive any call

We take both our cats here and the staff always make each visit so easy and stress free! They definitely take a fear-free approach with all animals and meet the lil critters where they are at. We can always rely on their care and attention to detail, and we know they view our furry family as more than just a file or a number.

Been to this vet for my 4 animals (2 cats, 2 dogs) a total of 3 visits thus far. I adore the staff. They care, they are kind, funny, friendly, all around wonderful people. 3/4 of my pets hate going to the vet on principle alone. Even those 3 hate this place a little less. My male dog is talked to so sweetly while he shakes and poops on/near them out of nervousness. They're so gentle with my senior cat. My female dog is skittish with anyone who isn't me and I love that the vet who she nipped at scolded me for scolding her. He told me she was a tiny baby and couldn't help being scared. They made a great impression. Their website is also easy to use and you can schedule appointments on it.
