The folks are so nice. Called because we found a garter snake in our basement and it’s winter right now. I would recommend to send an email. They are busy so might not answer the phone. Quick to respond to email, within a few hours - same day. Once we set a date and time to meet, finding the place was easy and the couple are lovely. We made a donation and had a nice chat before leaving. Thank you very much for all that you do!

Dr. Nash was incredibly kind, helpful, and informative when it came to my situation with a brown anole. I cannot thank her enough with her help in getting me set up with the necessary equipment and information to keep my new friend alive and thriving. I'm so happy we went with Colorado Reptile Humane Society. This is my first time caring for a leopard gecko and I found the adoption process very thorough and informative. I feel as though CORHS truly cares about all of their animals and diligently vets all prospective adopters. I walked away from the experience feeling very empowered by everything I learned and confident that I have support if any questions arise.

Generally I don’t like leaving reviews but this is just screaming for me to say something. I have asked a simple question about the husbandry of a snake and they were very rude in the response. They gave no actual information and shut down the conversation in two sentences. They seem to lack understanding in their practices which is concerning to me. Overall if you know what you’re doing it could be fine but be careful!

Will definitely be adopting, and hopefully volunteering, again! Place was very well kept with MORE than adequate room for the rescues! The owner is super knowledgeable of the animals cared for, and genuinely cares for them as well! Please do all your reptile shopping here!
