Colfax Animal Hospital

I’ve been going to Colfax Animal Hospital for years and I absolutely loved Dr. Buckley. I was somewhat concerned we he hung up his hat and the hospital changed hands to The Prichards, but my mind was quickly put at ease with Dr. Austin’s and Dr. Nikki’s professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable bringing my puppies to them and taking the extra time with me when I need reassurance. Brenda and Desi are absolutely wonderful as well and go out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Love this little clinic and their staff!

Dr. Nikki and staff were a godsend when no one else could see our sick cat recently. They explained everything so well and offered options when those things didn't work, they fit me in so we could say goodbye. My heart is broken that Benji didnt get better but the compassion shown to me in a really terrible time will not be forgotten. Thank you for helping our family, what you do is appreciated more than my words will ever be able to convey.

The most compassionate veterinary clinic I have ever been to. They put your pet's wellbeing before the almighty dollar which is rare nowadays. Can't say enough positive things about the vets and reception staff.

Very relaxed and cordial, which is vitally important with my heeler service dog because he has trust issues.

Called about my dog who needed to be seen asap and when I called I tried talking to the lady who answered the phone about the seriousness of her condition and why I was concerned and she literally cut me off in mid sentence to inform me that she wouldn’t be able to get me in till the following week! My dog couldn’t wait to be seen 6 days later she wouldn’t be alive if she had. I understand this is a smaller vet, but there should always be even small time slots every day to accommodate for issues that come up unexpectedly especially when you’re in a more remote town such as this one. My brother liked them for routine checks with his dog and recommended them, but after very clearly only being a ‘number’ them, that’s not the experience I want with my dog who is family to me.
