WARNING!!!My sister just boarded her dogs here so she could visit for Christmas. When she arrived to pick up her dog, who is truly more like a child, they had THREE different visible injuries that did not look like they had even been treated. Nor was my sister aware that her dog would be picked up with injuries since nobody from the facility contacted her to let her know they had even been an incident. After SHE made contact, she was told the owners would get back to her, and this has yet to happen. These injuries needed over $300 worth of vet care, on top of the price she paid for boarding in the first place. This is beyond unacceptable

This is our first time using Cocoa Kennels and I will absolutely be back. Our dog can be a little timid at times and will try to nip out of fear but they handled him really well and I cannot thank them enough. They even washed his toys and blankets after his stay. I absolutely recommend Coca Kennels for boarding.

I regret boarding my dog here. I should've walked out when I walked in. The smell is worse than the shelter. I dropped off a clean and healthy four year old AKC dog and returned to a traumatized, sick pup who smelled like urine despite paying extra for a grooming. Her bed also reeked of urine despite being told they washed that as well. Even worse, since her stay two weeks ago, she has been to the vet twice, spent more than $400 to address gastrointestinal issues. She's still not well. If you love your pet, take them some place else.

About three weeks ago, I left my dog for the first time at Cocoa Kennels for one week. My dog had a small wound on his leg, and to stop him from licking it and making it worse, I gave them an Elizabeth collar and a cream prescribed by the vet. I asked them to use these, because on their website they said they can give medicine and provide care if needed. I also prepared my dog’s meals in advance and asked them to keep the food in the fridge and feed him, since they also wrote on their website that they take care of any food needs. From the beginning, they told me they don’t send videos and that I could only call to ask about my dog, but they are usually “too busy.” They didn’t even allow me to see the place where the dogs were kept. I took my dog, Shadow, there to be groomed. They did an excellent job! she even called to suggest trimming him a bit more to clean up my “kitchen hack job” I did on him. He smells so great and is so happy to be looking handsome again! We will be back!
