My dog is there now for his second boarding training (once for obedience and now for behavioral) as well as going 1-2 times a week for Enrichment Care, and it truly feels like they love him just as much as I do. He loves being there just as much as he loves being with me — which says a lot! The team genuinely cares and takes the time to do whatever needs to be done to help him get where he needs to be. They are patient, knowledgeable, and fully invested in each dog’s success. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them — it’s a passion. We have had a phenomenal experience at K9 with our rescue pittie, Hazel. She was scared of everything when we first adopted her. We began at K9 with confidence training which takes time and patience. We celebrated each baby step, which later turned out to be the foundation for milestone success with obedience training. Every staff member at K9 is so knowledgeable about dogs and their "language". Additionally, they truly love all of the dogs they work with and are invested in their continuous success. Training definitely requires a financial investment and you can't predict an end date when you start or even necessarily know when the big hurdles will be crossed. My pit bull recently graduated from a 12-week at-home Basic Obedience Training program with Coastal Pines K9. We worked with Carter, and it was a positive and helpful experience overall. He’s knowledgeable, kind, responsive, and clear with instruction. My pup responded well to the techniques implemented, and I’ve seen solid improvement in her responsiveness and focus. Training is still an ongoing process at home, but I feel better equipped with the tools and guidance provided. I would recommend Coastal Pines K9 for Basic Obedience Training, including sit, down, place, impulse control, and structured correction work. I would also recommend their Enrichment Day Care program, as they provide attentive care while your pet is in their hands.

I enrolled my 5-month-old Greater Mountain Swiss Dog, Pixie, in the 18-day in-board training program at Coastal Pines K9. And I’m thrilled with the results. Pixie learned to potty train, master essential commands, leash train, crate train and socialize. All the staff - Chelsea, Laura, and Grace, excelled in working with Pixie. Grace was the dedicated trainer for Pixie her expertise and dedication significantly contributed to Pixie’s progress. Pixie’s behavior and responsiveness improved greatly. While Pixie has made great strides, she still has much to learn. I’ve opted for their monthly in-home visits with Grace to continue her growth. I cannot say one bad thing about anyone there. We adopted a pit mix 3 months ago and I grew up with golden doodles so I really had no idea what I was doing when it came to training her. Lucy spent 3 weeks with them and came back as a completely different dog. We are still doing in home training with Grace and Lucy gets so excited when she pulls up. I board her there for a night or two and as soon as she gets in she runs to them and gives kisses. The fact that I don’t have to worry about her when I leave her somewhere is amazing. The communication with them is great and even if I have a question they call me right back. They have helped us learn how to train her as well. I will never take her anywhere else.
