Coastal Carolina Animal Hospital has been AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE where we take our dogs. This was primarily driven by the outstanding care and insight Dr. Dugan had when we originally went there for for unanticipated vaccines because of an unplanned boarding event. During our first encounter, Dr. Dugan observed a history of mildly abnormal labs sent from our regular vet. He suggested we check further and request additional tests. Those tests confirmed his diagnosis/theory and surgery was scheduled. That surgery made an immediate positive impact on Ronin that added multiple years to the life to the best dog we have ever had. When I moved to Wilmington, I found coastal Carolina animal Hospital. I had a year-old dog named Jack, and I met Dr Dugin and his staff and they took care of my jack for years until his death. Two years ago, I got a puppy and I was So pleased with the office and the staff that I took my new puppy there and I was so happy with Dr Dugin that I named my pup after him and his name is Pete. We also adopted a dog off the streets name Pig, She was an older dog, but a loving dog and we took her in and Dr Dugin took care of her also and she was a character and she spent her forever last years with us. I will never take my animals anywhere else. This is the only place that I take my animals because the staff here is so loving, courteous, caring, and they treat your animals like they’re very own. I

Coastal Carolina Animal Hospital saw our frenchie, Moxie Grace on an emergency basis when she presented with a UTI and double ear infection while we were visiting family in Kure Beach. They were so very kind and got her vet records from NY so she could be helped the same day. And this was all amidst a crazy snow storm. She has had chronic UTI's since a puppy and is on a special diet. We also noticed her ears were red and uncomfortable. She's never had an ear infection before. To get both at once, while on a road trip was so concerning. Once she was seen and medicated she has bounced right back to her usual crazy self! The staff was so friendly and kind. We'll always remember and be thankful for what a positive experience they made it for us.

Our recent experience with Zeppole's neutering was great. Dr. Dugan and his staff kept us well informed, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. An awesome experience all around.

I took my sweet kitty here for several months. Dr. Snook & Dr. Dugan got answers for my baby & helped me give her the best possible life until it was her time. When that time came, the staff was so exceptionally tender & kind, helping me feel as comfortable as possible while letting my fur baby go. They gave her back to me in a beautiful urn from Perkins Goodbye Hugs, which I appreciate more than I can express. They are truly good people - good at their jobs, & good at helping the humans that love their pets so very much.
