Clowder House Foundation

Wanted to retract my last review about this establishment. I still appreciate the mission they have so I’ll keep it at least 2 stars, but I’m still irked by their adoption process (or lack thereof). They either need new management or be willing to get a volunteer to start listing cats online. To say that most of the volunteers are older and can’t use the computer is honestly an excuse. People can learn. They need to do better. The main woman who runs the place (god bless her heart) needs to be more open. They have over 300 hundred cats and at least 1/3 of them are adoptable!! But you wouldn’t know it because it’s almost NEVER advertised. Plus the main lady in charge is the only person with information on the cats and even then you don’t get much of a solid answer. I've been trying for 3 weeks to adopt one or two cats, apparently they want to keep all the cats to themselves I've reached out several times and still get no response this place gets one star

Brought some items to donate and got to look around a bit. You can tell the cats are happy and well taken care of. The volunteers obviously really care about the cats.

This place is wonderful. What a great idea. Retirement home for cats if not adopted. I cannot say enough on the Clowder House. The cats are so well taken care of and receive so much love and care. Diane is probably one of the best animal lover ever. She has dedicated her life to these cats 100 percent. She spends 7 days a week caring for the cats.

A wonderful place. The people who volunteer there have hearts of gold. There are a lot of cats living in Clowder House. Some are there to peacefully live out the rest of their lives with days filled with companionship. Some cats are there with hopes of being adopted. But until they find their forever homes they're going to be well taken care of. I would like to volunteer at Clowder House but it's nearly an hour from my home. I do hope to go back and visit again.
